Negative Ad Deliberately Ignores Reality in Attempt to Link Hochul to President
Clarence, NY – Today the Hochul campaign responded to Chris Collins’ first ad, a negative attempt to make thiscampaign about the President and not Western New York.
“Chris Collins can choose to ignore the fact that Kathy’s broken with her party and the President to support things like the Balanced Budget Amendment and small business tax cuts, but Western New Yorkers know that Kathy is the independent voice they deserve and demand” said Campaign Manager Frank Thomas. “Its clear from Chris Collins’ first ad that he knows he cannot match up against Kathy’s independent record of fighting for Western New York. In fact, Collins appears to have disregarded the campaign for New York’s 27th district and is attempting to run against the President.”
